"Fitness Fix"

You're used to leaving your doctor's office with a script for pills. Now physicians are sending patients to the gym as well as, or even rather than, the pharmacy. One in three women received an exercise prescription to prevent or help treat a condition like high blood pressure, diabetes, and even cancer, according to a report. Always ask if you can try exercise before popping pills; often, working out is the best treatment option (Women's Health, 2012, p. 24).

I thought that this article was very interesting and it really reminded me of this class. I also think that I will add this to my folder of inspiring words and articles (yes I have one) to help myself and my clients see in writing that working out can really affect more the just your physical body by looks but also internally as well.

I can't remember the last time I was at the doctors. When I was I told her I needed to find a better way to manage my pain then with narcotics. I had sciatica real bad and I think I just started doing some stretching and I do my running but some days I split the running and walking and then I take Turmeric. I haven't had a pain since. I also take fish oil which I think helps with so many things
